Age limit: 18-36 (Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities and Other Backward Communities are eligible for relaxation of upper age limit as per rules)

Qualification:

A Pass in Pre-Degree or Higher Secondary Course (+2)
(2) Technical.
A Pass in T.B. Health Visitors Course conducted by the T.B Association of India, New Delhi or any other equivalent qualification recognized by Government of Kerala.
Note :- (i) In the absence of persons with Technical Qualification those with HSS certificates (in science subjects) will be selected and they will be given 6 months training in the State T.B Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. The period of training will not count for probation or increment. But such candidates will have to execute a bond to serve the department for 10 years as Treatment Organiser for Tuberculosis Programme and the stipend for 6 months ie, '2480/- The amount of bonded obligation is 2480/- together with a sum of 1240/- as liquidated damages.
(ii) Probation:- Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
