- DEE Assam to begin registration for 4,500 LP, UP teacher vacancies from
February 15, 2025
- he Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam will start the online
registration process for the recruitment of 4,500 Lower Primary (LP) and
Upper Primary (UP) school teachers on February 15, 2025. Eligible Candidates
can apply online through the official website of DEE Assam at
https://dee.assam.gov.in/

- Start date for submitting online application February 15, 2025 (10:00
A.M.)
- Last date for submitting online application March 31, 2025 (05:00 P.M.)
Vacancy Details
- 2,900 Vacancies are for the Assistant Teacher post at Lower Primary
schools, and 1,600 are for Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi
Teacher posts at Upper Primary (UP) schools.
Upper Age Limit
Qualification
- igher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50%
marks
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary
- Five per cent of marks in Higher Secondary and DELEd scores and 85 per
cent of marks secured in Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary
Schools will be counted in the final weightage.
- Non-essential Qualification: NCC Certificate - 5 marks for "C"
Certificate and 3 marks for "B" Certificate or 5 marks for participation/
achievement in recognized sports at National Level or beyond representing
State or Nation or 5 marks for participation/ achievement in recognized Fine
Arts and Cultural Activities representing State at National Level or Beyond
representing State or Nation (organized by recognized institutions). 5 marks
(even if the candidate possesses all the three qualification/ achievements)
for non-essential qualifications will be counted in the final weightage.
Application Fee
- No application fee is required for applying DEE Assam Upper Primary and
Lower Primary Teacher Vacancies
Selection Process
- The selection process may comprise of Written Examination /Group
Discussion / Personal Interview and Document verification
- The Selection of the candidates shall be strictly in order of merit
considering the reservation for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD etc
Instructions for Candidates
- The applicants are required to go through the detailed notification
carefully and decide themselves about their eligibility for this recruitment
before applying online
- Scan the latest photograph of the candidate in .JPG format and upload in
the online application
- Candidate shall make his/her signature on a white paper, scan the same,
in .JPG format and upload in the online application
- Candidates must upload either the original certificate or the
provisional certificate issued by a competent authority when submitting
their educational qualification certificates.
- Applicants should have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which
should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process. DEE
Assam may send intimation to download call letters for written
test/proficiency assessment/interview through the registered e-mail ID.
