East Central Railway Apprentice 2025: What You Need to Know

East Central Railway, ECR has invited applications for Apprentice posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway at https://www.rrcecr.gov.in/. This recruitment is for filling 1154 posts in Railway.

Carriage Repair Workshop/ Harnaut: 110 Nos
Mechanical Workshop/Samastipur: 27 Nos

Qualification

The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board and ITI in relevant trade (i.e National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).

Selection Process

Selection for Apprenticeship training will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification for a particular Division/Unit.
The merit list will be prepared taking the average of the %age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation with minimum 50% (aggregate marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

Instructions for Candidates

The applicants are required to go through the detailed notification carefully and decide themselves about their eligibility for this recruitment before applying online
Scan the latest photograph of the candidate less than in .JPG format and upload in the online application
Candidate shall make his/her signature on a white paper, scan the same, in .JPG format and upload in the online application
Candidates must upload either the original certificate or the provisional certificate issued by a competent authority when submitting their educational qualification certificates.
Applicants should have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process.

The application fee is Rs.100/-. The payment can be made by using Debit/Credit card or Internet Banking etc. by providing information as asked on the screen.
