Kerala PSC Civil Excise Officer Exam ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualifications

Must have passed th Plus Two Examination or its equivalent.
The knowledge of any one regional language Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada is mandatory.

Note- Candidates, who have the responsibility to prove that they satisfy the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQs) and Eligibility Requirements (ERs) for the recruitment.

Physical Qualifications:

Must not be less than 165 cms in height and 81 cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

Note: In the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes the minimum height shall be 160 cms and the minimum chest measurement shall be 76 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

Visual Standards

Eye Sight: Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses.

Note:-

Each eye must have a full field of vision.
Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye will be deemed to be a disqualification.
Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, Varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands & limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Age Limit : 19-31, Candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for age relaxation.
