Age limit: 18-36 (Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities and Other Backward Communities are eligible for relaxation of upper age limit as per rules)

Qualification:

(a) (i) A Degree in Home Science awarded by a recognised University.
(ii) Diploma in Nutrition or Dietitics recognised by Government.
OR
(i) A Bachelor's Degree in Science awarded by a recognised University.
(ii) Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Nutrition and Dietitics awarded by Madurai Kamaraj University.(In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications)
(b) Diploma in Food Technology (1st or 2nd Class) recognised by Government.
